This was my worst hotel experience. I stayed in a single room, which cost £155 for one night (no breakfast included - not that I would have ate the food!), so not exactly cheap. The room was tiny, literally a bed and door - there was a 30 year old portable tv with a bad picture and a trouser iron that I would not have put any of my clothes in close proximity of. The bathroom was very dated, chipped, cracked, rusty and genrally garish. As I say the most uncomfortable hotel experience I have ever had, I almost walked and im not a dramatic person. I would have killed for a travel lodge! At least they are clean, modern and bigger than a sleeper train room!
The location was ideal as a base for exploring London, very close to two tubes stations giving easy access to london
The hotel was not up to the standard expected for a 3* hotel, carpets throughout the hotel were dirty and stained, all areas of the hotel are in need of a full redecoration
the location was really the only decent thing about the hotel
the room was old and dirty. the bed was so uncomfortable. i could feel every spring through the mattress. the tv was tiny and only got about 4 channels. the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. the room was expensive and didn't live up to how much it cost.
Very nice reception staff. The room was clean and the window opened so I could get some air.
The corridors were narrow and stuffy. But not a big deal
The great area that surrounds the hotel has loads of different culture restaurants which are great!
Squeaky floor boards, small bathrooms and small tv! Not much!
The location makes it a perfect place to stay while exploring London. It's right around the corner from the Baywater tube station, there's several inexpensive places to eat, and there's also a pharmacy and Tescos.
The vstaff were very friendly especially on reception. The hotel is ideally situated near 2 tube stations fairly central. The size of the room is for London standards fairly spacious.
The breakfast was not too good.
Staff were very friendly and efficient. However, the whole hotel is in dire need of a makeover - even the carpets need to be replaced as they are stained. The photographs of this hotel, on your site, are misleading. Yes it is all clean but the quality is a let down. I guess tho, that this is reflected in the price. For a cheap weekend in central London, close to local amenities and tube stations, it was not so bad, but the standards would have been much better anywhere outside London for the same price.
Misleading photographs on website - makes it look good when in fact it is a bit shabby
The first room we were assigned in the basement had a terrible smell. Thank goodness the hot water wasn't working and the shower kept on dripping throughout the night because we were given another room on the 2nd floor which was so much better. The only thing that I find unfair is that if we hadn't had those "mishaps", we would have had to spend our nights in a badly aired and terribly smelly room for the same price. I do think these rooms should be lowered in price or the clients informed that they would be hosted in a smelly basement room! A part from that the staff were wonderful and the second room too! I probably will come and stay with you again but I will ask not to be put in the basement!
Ideal place to visit Westminster in a short stay. Walking distance to Hyde park and two metro stations. Good for muslim travelers as many Halal food stores are just around the corner. Decent
Room is small but it was expected. Not ideal if you're staying in the hotel for long time as underground metro noise is a bit inconvenient
Near by good location
The hotel was under renevation wich is required becouse very old furntures staff in it,
Location is convenient as it is close to many restaurants, super markets, and two tube stations.
Claustrophobic shower, super squeaky bed, and a television the size of an iPod. The room certainly wasn't worth the 107 gbp we paid per night.
The staff was very helpfull, breakfast had a good variety.
The bedrooms were really small, one of them only had one small window on the very top of the wall.
very nice and clean new hotel with good location very nice interior design
the room service at night didnt offer such quality food as during the day
When we had an issue with the room not being completely clean the customer service managers bent over backwards to make us happy
